Winners! Web Design Magic win Gold Coast Business Excellence Awards!
A Burleigh-based IT company has been recognised for its innovative and unique web design services at the 2010 Gold Coast Business Excellence Awards.
Web Design Magic CEO, Daren Hawes, says the award comes after more than a decade of growing the business and perfecting the craft.
“We started off in 1999 as a husband and wife team working from a site shed that was craned into our suburban backyard in Nerang”, says Daren.
“Since then we’ve purchased our own premises in Burleigh and grown to employ approx. 15 staff.”
Daren and his wife Tanya still oversee the daily operations of the successful business, supported by their team of qualified and creative professional designers, developers and programmers.
The company’s dedication to providing Gold Coast businesses with powerful, robust and reliable website solutions has paid off with their award in the IT and Multimedia category of the Gold Coast Business Excellence Awards. Their award was gratefully accepted at a classy morning tea at Jupiter’s on Wednesday 23rd June.
“We’ve proven the old cliché ‘hard work pays off’,” says Daren, who is justifiably proud of his team’s efforts and success.
Web Design Magic provides small, medium and large local businesses with a range of online products and services ranging from small brochure websites through to e-marketing solutions, e-commerce websites, large content management systems and corporate intranets.
The Gold Coast Business Excellence Awards have been recognising the successes of local businesses for 15 years and are considered to be the region’s most comprehensive and prestigious awards scheme. All winners from 2010 will also be presented at a Black Tie Gala presentation in November.
